Getting Nano Brows During a Trip to Seoul: Planning Your Appointment
Many visitors can fit nano brows into a trip to Seoul. Book early in your stay, keep the next one to two weeks free of swimming, saunas and strong sun, and don’t worry about coming back: a touch-up is optional, and Claire works carefully in the first session so visitors usually don’t need one. Message us with your dates first so we can check whether it suits you.
Before you fly
- Message us with your travel dates. If you’ve had brow tattooing before, add three photos (front and each brow close up, no makeup).
- Tell us about any recent Botox, filler, laser or skin treatments. You may need to leave a gap before your brows.
- Avoid getting sunburned on your face in the days before your appointment.
Choosing your appointment day
Book as early in your trip as you can. Nano brows take about 2 hours 30 minutes, and you’ll want the following days to be relaxed for your skin. The day after, your brows will look darker and more defined than the final result, so if you have important photos planned, schedule those before your appointment.
The rest of your trip
For the first one to two weeks, avoid:
- Swimming pools, the sea, saunas and jjimjilbang
- Hot yoga or heavy workouts
- Long hours in strong sun without a hat
Day trips, shopping, cafés and sightseeing in Seoul are generally fine. Flying is generally fine too.
The touch-up question
You don’t need to plan a second trip. A touch-up is optional: for visitors, Claire works especially carefully in the first session so that a touch-up is usually not needed. If you do happen to be in Seoul within six weeks: Complimentary touch-up within 6 weeks of your first appointment (about 30 minutes to 1 hour), for clients who had their original treatment at Claire Beauty.
When a trip isn’t the right time
If your trip is very short, if you’re heading straight to a beach holiday, or if you’ve just had other treatments, it may be better to plan for a future visit. We’d rather tell you that than rush it.
