Nano Brows Aftercare & Healing Timeline
For the first days after your appointment, keep your brows dry, out of the sun and free of cleansing products, and let them heal without pressure, sweat or picking. They look darker at first and gradually soften as they heal.
These are the same aftercare instructions we send you after your appointment.
Brow healing timeline
- Days 1–3
- Darker, sharper and a little thicker than the final result. Mild redness or tenderness is normal.
- Days 4–10
- Flaking and itching. Don’t pick or scratch; let flakes fall off naturally.
- Weeks 2–3
- Strokes may look faint or patchy as new skin covers them. This is normal.
- Weeks 4–6
- Color settles. This is your healed result. If you’d like a touch-up, this is the time: complimentary within 6 weeks of your first appointment (about 30 minutes to 1 hour) for clients who had their original treatment at Claire Beauty.
Touch-up
A touch-up is optional. Complimentary touch-up within 6 weeks of your first appointment (about 30 minutes to 1 hour), for clients who had their original treatment at Claire Beauty. Your skin takes about 2–3 weeks to heal, so the touch-up is booked after that and within 6 weeks of your first appointment.
If you’d like to change your touch-up appointment date, please let us know at least 5 days in advance. If you’re more than 15 minutes late, don’t show up, or cancel at short notice, your free touch-up session is forfeited and you’ll need to book and pay for a new touch-up. Booking policies
Aftercare instructions for your brows
- Keep your brows dry for the first 3 days. Try not to get them wet.
- Keep them out of direct sunlight until they’re fully healed.

- Don’t sleep face down or put pressure on your brows while they heal.
- Avoid the gym, saunas (including jjimjilbang), spas, swimming and heavy sweating for at least 7–10 days.
- Don’t scratch, rub or pick at scabs or flaking skin. Let them fall off naturally.
The color may look darker at first and will gradually soften as your brows heal.

Long-term care
Once healed, sunscreen helps your brows keep their color longer. Retinoids and exfoliating acids on the brow area can fade pigment faster. Let any other skin or aesthetic practitioner know you have cosmetic brows before they treat the area.
When to contact a doctor
Some redness and tenderness in the first days is expected. Please see a doctor promptly if you notice pain, swelling or redness that gets worse instead of better, heat, pus or discharge, a fever, or signs of an allergic reaction.
